Uncoupling Membrane

Uncoupling membranes are now a necessity for ceramic or stone tile installation because it keeps the tiles from cracks and fractures. They uncouple the tiles from the substrate, keeping the stress or movement from reaching them. They also serve as a barrier that keeps the water and moisture from seeping through.

Uses

These underlayment mats can be used anywhere with timber, concrete, cementitious screeds, and gypsum-based screeds as a substrate. They are ideally used for bathrooms, shower floors, and sauna or steam rooms!
