JJ CARE Calcium alginate dressing is recommended as the primary wound dressing for chronic and acute wounds that ooze moderately to severely, as well as wounds with modest bleeding. When in contact with exudates, the dressing eventually produces a hard, saturated gel that is extremely absorbent.
